Children’s Day is a beautiful reminder that children are the heart of our future. At Tulipians Preschool, HM New Alipore, we celebrated this special day with joy, creativity, and meaningful learning, making it a memorable experience for all our little Tulipians.
To help children understand the significance of Children’s Day, our students participated in a drawing activity where they created pictures of Jawaharlal Nehru, lovingly known as Chacha Nehru.
Teachers explained in simple and engaging ways why Children’s Day is celebrated on his birthday, highlighting:
- His immense contribution towards the nation
- His deep love and affection for children
- His belief that children are the builders of a strong and progressive India
The celebration continued with cheerful singing and dancing, filling the campus with laughter and excitement. The children enthusiastically participated, expressing themselves freely and enjoying every moment with their friends and teachers.
